Get Qualification Reason From SDR and update the salesforce opportunity
SDR receives a notification asking to enter the qualification reason. This reason is updated in the salesforce & notified in Slack
Prerequisites
A Salesforce user lookup, which holds the user (who has to enter the qualification reason) name.
A field (Existing or custom) that will be updated once an opportunity is marked qualified
To set up this workflow:
Once the Salesforce setup given above is done,
Go to the Momentum web app. You can navigate to Momentum home from your Slack workspace like so:
a) From the list of apps in your Slack workspace, click on ‘Momentum’ to view the Momentum app home
b) Click on “Momentum App” to navigate to the web app.
Next, click on "Library of Recipes" on the left
You will find a list of available recipes here. Select the recipe titled "Get Qualification Reason From SDR and update the salesforce opportunity"
Enter the details shown in the recipe.

Although, the fields given are self-explanatory, here are a few additional details if required.
Field
Description
Name & description
The name & description fields here imply the name & description of a workflow. Because several workflows can be created out of a recipe, it's good to name your workflow as meaningfully as possible. That way
it makes it easier to find and understand the purpose of each created workflow.
The stage name that shows the opportunity is qualified.
This is a dropdown field which lists all the stages for an opportunity. You can select the stage which marks an opportunity Qualified here.
Select the Lookup(User) field, which points to the user, who will write the qualification reason
This dropdown lists all the fields available in the Salesforce object. Select the user field.
Salesforce field that captures qualification reason
Select the name of the field which captures the Qualification reason given by the SDR. Once a qualification reason is entered, its value is captured in this field.
The Slack channel ID where you can post the announcement
This is an optional field. You can pick one of the slack channels from the list to make sure that the announcement along with the Qualification Reason given by the SDR is posted here for other teammates to see.
An example use case:
Assume that a qualification reason is required once the opportunity is marked qualified. In this case, we are marking the opportunity qualified, once it reaches the stage ‘Qualification’.

You can activate or deactivate your workflow anytime using the “active” switch in Momentum home.
